Upcoming Presentation: Fieldwork in Waldkraiburg, 15th November 2025, Mühldorf
Twenty years ago, I conducted my first ethnomusicological fieldwork. On 15th of September, I will present this research during the “Forum Volksmusik”-Event at Haberkasten Mühldorf am Inn. The topic of the talk is “Field work in Waldkraiburg – a brief review of the musical folk culture of displaced persons, refugees, and new citizens after 1945.” Participants will receive the comprehensive research documentation of the District of Upper Bavaria from 2005. The workshop will be held in German.
